The Shambhala School offers a Before and After School Program for students in Pre-Primary through to Grade 5.
Space in the program is limited, so families are encouraged to reserve their spot by registering for the Program using the Before and After School Program Registration Form at their earliest convenience.

THE BEFORE And AFter SCHOOL PROGRAM Staff
Abbey Thornhill is the Director of the Before and After School Program for 2022/2023.
Before School is staffed by Ms. Nicole for the littles and Melanie Adolph and Abbey Thornhill (alternating weeks) for the older students.
After School is staffed by Abbey and Ms. Nicole or Charlie for the littles and Sarah and Hermoine or Misha for the older students.
The Before School Program
The Before School Program runs from 8:00am to 8:40am.
The 2023/2024 Annual Fees for the Before School Program are:

The After School Program
The After School Program runs from 3:00pm to 5:15pm. Students have an opportunity to enjoy snacks (from home), creative play, stories, arts and crafts and outdoor play.

In-Service and Parent/Teacher Interview Days
There are three school terms at the Shambhala School. During each term we usually schedule one Professional Development Day and one Report Writing Day. In addition, there are Parent/Teacher Interview Days. Please check the school calendar for exact dates. There are no regular classes on these days but we do offer a child care program

The camps are for students in grades Pre Primary through 5. Drop off time will be 8:00 am, and pick up time will be 4:30 pm. All payments must be received before the camp takes place. Spaces are limited, so register your child early by replying to the email sent out from reception. Payments can be made by eTransfer, cash, or cheque.
Children participating in the camps will need to bring a packed lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, and a personal water bottle. All items should be labeled with your child’s name. The children will be going outside to play, so they should be dressed appropriately for the weather.
If you are interested in enrolling in our before and after school program please let our office now. We will check to ensure if there is room left in our programs, and if there is you will be assigned the appropriate forms in the parent portal.
Annual enrolment takes place in August. Please note that we have a limited number of spaces, so it will be first come, first served.
